Myriad, El Camino College's Literary Arts Journal, welcomes submissions from El Camino College students during the spring semester. ECC students from the prior summer, fall, winter sessions and the current spring session are encouraged to submit short stories, creative nonfiction, poems, and artwork. Students can submit 1 short story no longer than 5000 words, 1 creative non fiction story no longer than 5000 words 3 poems, 1 screenplay no more than ten pages, and 3 images.
The author/artist retains all rights to his/her submitted work. However, by submitting your work to Myriad, you agree to allow Myriad/El Camino College to publish your work in both print and digital form.
By submitting any material, you agree that the work you submit is your own.
Please note that if you choose to submit materials that share your own experiences with sex or gender-based misconduct, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking or intimate partner violence, the English Department is required by law to report the problem to the District Title IX Office (Office of Staff and Student Diversity). However, psychologists are not required to report your incident.
